Anne Hathaway Pens Inspiring Message About Post-Baby Weight Loss

May 2024 · 2 minute read

She’s taking her time! Anne Hathaway desires everybody to understand she’s happy with her body after baby and she’s now not stressing about losing the weight straight away.

“There is not any disgrace in gaining weight all over being pregnant (or ever),” The Princess Diaries actress, 33, wrote on Instagram on Monday, August 8. “There is no disgrace if it takes longer than you assume it is going to to lose the weight (if you want to lose it in any respect).”

She shared the inspiring message alongside a photograph of her newest DIY venture. The actress reduce a pair of comfortable boyfriend jeans above the knee and cuffed the hems into shorts.

“There isn't any shame in in the end breaking down and making your personal jean shorts because remaining summer’s are simply too dang quick for this summer’s thighs. Bodies exchange. Bodies develop. Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let somebody let you know differently.) Peace xx,” she wrote, adding the hashtags #noshame and #lovewhatyouhavebeengiven.

Hathaway welcomed her son, Jonathan Rosebanks, with her husband, Adam Shulman, in March. When she made her post-baby red carpet debut a little bit greater than a month after giving delivery at the Alice Through the Looking Glass premiere in May, she already looked narrow and had that new mom glow.

The Intern actress has been vocal about body confidence and doing issues on her personal terms. She first confirmed her pregnancy in a bikini Instagram pic in January after she spotted a paparazzo taking pictures a shot of her on the beach. “Posting a bikini pic is a little bit out of character for me, but just now whilst I used to be on the seashore I realized I was being photographed. I determine if this kind of picture goes to be out on the planet it will have to a minimum of be a picture that makes me satisfied,” she captioned her first bump picture.

The Devil Wears Prada superstar also opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her newfound self belief on the gym. “I normally stroll in [my West Hollywood health club] and feel so intimidated,” she stated. “But [now] I walk in, I’m like, ‘Yeah I figure out with five-pound weights, but I pushed a child out of my body. I think just right at the moment.’”
