Arie Luyendyk Jr. isn’t on just right phrases with Cirie Fields after their season of The Traitors.
“That’s a no,” Arie, 42, spoke back to a fan who asked if he still kept in touch with Cirie, 53, by way of an Instagram Story Q&A on Thursday, January 18. “She won it in a dirty means for my part but she has to live with that and that’s all I’ll really say.”
Arie and Cirie competed within the inaugural season of the American model of The Traitors, which premiered in January 2023. The display follows a group of contestants taking part in a murder thriller sport, who are divided up into “faithfuls” and “traitors.” The avid gamers are tasked with banishing who they believe are the sport’s saboteurs. Cirie was once tapped to be a traitor in the first season along Cody Califiore and Christian de la Torre. Following Cody’s exit from the sport, Christian and Cirie recruited Arie to sign up for them. Arie and Cirie made it to the tip of the contest alongside faithfuls Quentin Jiles and Andie Vanacore.
The 4 had a choice to both finish the game and cut up the $250,000 prize or banish another person. If there were any traitors left, they would take all of the prize leaving the faithfuls with not anything. While Arie, Quentin and Andie voted to end the game, Cirie wanted to continue. Arie reluctantly admitted he was a traitor and left the sport which led Cirie to take home all the money.
“If I would have gained finally then I'd have left the game with a clear moral sense,” Arie persevered on Thursday. “A lot was left on the slicing room ground during [the] endgame.”
Cirie has now not addressed Arie’s contemporary feedback.
After season 1 of Traitors dropped on Peacock in January 2023, Cirie gave Us Weekly the rundown on her strategy. She teased that she thought to be splitting the money with Arie but ultimately decided towards it.
“I used to be serious about it! I literally was once like, ‘It’s over. It could be performed. We might be completed. I’ll just finish it with Arie. Me and Arie will cut up it,’” Cirie confessed. “And then I considered it even further. I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, but Arie just were given on this educate, like, two days ago. I’ve been driving this educate from the beginning. Yeah, maybe I won’t split it with Arie.’”

Following the Traitors reunion display in February 2023, Arie opened up to Us about his time on the show and how he in point of fact felt about Cirie’s sport transfer.
“She made it no longer about who used to be a faithful or who was a traitor, she made it about who needed the money extra and that changed the game,” Arie recalled. “It changed it from a game to like, ‘OK, we’re speaking about money.’ That’s what it changed into about. Which, in truth, I didn’t like. It was once very dangerous of her to do what she did because I can have blew up all the sport on the finish and simply threw her under the bus. But I simply felt like, ‘OK, I would like to appreciate the game.’”
