
Ayesha Curry and Stephen Curry’s family has grown once more with the coming in their fourth baby.
“Our candy baby boy determined to make an early arrival!!” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, May 26. “He’s doing nice and we're in any case settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!”
Ayesha, 35, and Stephen, 36, published that their infant arrived on May 11.
The pair shared a black-and-white pic of the baby, who’s identify is Caius Chai.
The cookbook writer announced in March that she and the NBA player were expecting. In a cover story with her Sweet July mag, Ayesha explained why the couple decided to increase their brood.
“I'd load up the automobile and assume, ‘Oh, I forgot something,’” she noted. “But no person used to be forgotten. It started to flip my mind a bit of bit. Maybe anyone was lacking. So we set out in this adventure, realizing that this would whole our circle of relatives.”
Stephen and Ayesha tied the knot in July 2011 and went on to welcome daughter Riley in July 2012, daughter Ryan in July 2015 and son Canon in July 2018.
Although Ayesha had 3 earlier studies with expectant motherhood, her fourth pregnancy was once in contrast to the others.

“I’m in my 30s, and so there’s all this paperwork referring to the revel in as a ‘geriatric being pregnant’ and all the considerations that come along with that,” she mentioned. “I feel there’s something that needs to be extra nuanced when it comes to girls, their age and conversations round having children. Many women of their 30s and 40s are going thru this for the first time, and being informed you’re ‘previous’ feels alarming and wild.”
As for the way her kids seen her pregnancy, Ayesha pointed out that they have been sufficiently old to have more awareness of the method. “They’re at such different ages and phases in existence,” she shared. “Their perspectives are so other and it’s been the most thrilling factor.”
After Ayesha confirmed her imminent arrival, Stephen reposted her baby bump photo via Instagram, writing, “Vol. 4 ❤️👀😍.”

In May 2021, Ayesha reflected on starting her family in her early 20s, explaining that it “all the time felt right” to marry Stephen at that point but it compelled her to “make numerous choices” about her life.
“What I began to notice used to be I used to be turning into this woman at this kind of young age when folks would still probably be in school or just working out who they want to be,” she said at the “Skimm’d From the Couch” podcast. “I was getting married and having children, and it were given to some extent when I used to be like, I’ve spent my entire existence since I used to be a little bit girl attempting to play those folks and auditioning to be these different those who I don’t even know what I really like or who I am as a result of I’ve spent my whole lifestyles making an attempt to figure out how to be any person else.”
Ayesha insisted that she “completely loved being a mother” but felt she could juggle parenthood and a profession, which she later accomplished with the good fortune of her culinary ventures.
