May 2024 · 6 minute read

Joey Graziadei used to be on a prime after his overnight dates … until he found a note from Kelsey A. at his door.

The 28-year-old tennis professional kicked off the Monday, March 11, episode of the ABC sequence with Rachel Nance, and both Joey and Rachel seemed to admit that she was once falling behind his connections with Kelsey Anderson and Daisy Kent. Still, the twosome headed out on their date with the best of intentions — and Rachel, 27, ended up in the hospital after hurting her jaw while “taking a jump of faith,” i.e. leaping into the water from a top platform in Tulum, Mexico.

Joey proceeded to accompany Rachel to the medical institution for X-rays in spite of her insisting she used to be “advantageous.” Luckily, she used to be OK, and the pair were still able to settle for a myth suite date card. After waking up together the following morning, Joey instructed the cameras that he feels “comfy” with Rachel, noting their life in combination may well be “so stunning.”

He said goodbye by way of saying, “See ya quickly,” and she replied with, “See ya, hun.” While the alternate used to be candy, it was once a some distance cry from the L-bombs dropped on his subsequent two dates.

Joey spent the day with Kelsey, 25, subsequent. While on a ship, he time and again told Kelsey that he overlooked her and complimented her hair. Things took a serious flip when Kelsey unfolded about assembly with The Golden Bachelor‘s Leslie Fhima ahead in their date. All three finalists had guests from Gerry Turner‘s former contestants, however Kelsey meeting up with a still-slightly-bitter Leslie, 65, might in fact affect her adventure on the show, as Leslie put doubts in Kelsey’s head. (In case you didn’t watch The Golden Bachelor, Gerry, 72, picked and got engaged to Theresa Nist after principally telling Leslie that she was once The One all over fantasy suite week. Gerry and Theresa, 70, wed in January.)

Joey was once ready to (briefly) put Kelsey’s fears comfy through sharing his personal concerns concerning the process now not working out. After Kelsey told Joey that she wasn’t just “falling in love with him” — she used to be absolutely able to say “I love you” — he published he was in a position to say how he felt too.

“I've wanted to express to you the place my feelings are at, but, like, I can be closed off infrequently and I can dangle back as a result of they're horrifying emotions to share. But I haven’t had a doubt about how I’d felt about you for a long time. Like, I’m falling in love with you, totally,” Joey mentioned. “I’ve felt it for some time and I’m so serious about what can be and what can occur between us. … I’ve sought after to say it to you for some time. And to listen it now? I’m not waiting any more and I sought after to mean you can know I am falling in love with you and I know how actual it is.”

The duo therefore spent the evening together, waking up to prepare dinner bacon in their pajamas.

Joey and Daisy’s date had a equivalent trajectory, with Daisy, 25, main with Sandra Mason‘s recommendation to move all in with Joey. After a long makeout consultation in an outdoor shower (and several other angles of it), Joey decided to inform Daisy how he feels, as she previously stated she was once “falling in love” with him last week. At the time, Joey replied, “I believe the similar means” — and this week, he apologized for his “silly” reaction.

“You shared that you just had real emotions and that you simply were falling in love with me, and I couldn’t let you know how nice it used to be to hear it. I think I said that ‘I believe the same way,'” Joey stated. “I've been conserving again because I am scared and I’m hopeful that this may occasionally determine and I need to make certain after I say it, it holds the proper amount of which means and I say it accurately. And I'm falling in love with you, and it has been building for a while. It’s now not a doubt that it’s there, it’s just how a long way it will grow.”

The pair spent the night in combination, and the next morning, in mattress, they gushed about how “fun” it used to be to fall in love with each different.

Throughout Daisy’s date, the target audience were given glimpses of a spiraling Kelsey, who was once nonetheless occupied with Leslie’s warning now not to get her hopes up too much.

“There’s, like, a conversation that wishes to be had before going into the rose ceremony. It is extra pressing now than later,” Kelsey told the digicam. “I don’t want to blindside Joey, ever. I simply want to be truthful and I want to be able to tell him the whole thing that’s on my mind. I would moderately leave now than have my center completely broken.”

She determined to leave Joey a note that reads, “We need to communicate.” Joey started to freak out shortly after opening up the letter. (On a side note, it was once a nice contact for ABC to include the safety footage of Joey finding the note as an alternative of a professional setup. It nearly makes you consider that manufacturers didn’t know he can be walking up to to find it. Almost!)

“I don’t understand what this is. I’m puzzled. I didn’t be expecting to see a note on my door. … Usually when someone writes, ‘We need to talk,’ it’s scary and also you assume it might be, ‘Something went wrong,’” Joey stated as he nearly cried. “And I don’t understand what could’ve went incorrect because I haven’t mentioned the rest to her. This would derail everything. … This is, like, my worst nightmare coming true. I’m over giving the whole thing I can and feeling like they aren’t choosing me.”

The episode aired with a “to be persevered” … and a close to be sure that Rachel will likely be going home unless Kelsey actually quits after they discuss the note.
