
Bradley Cooper used to be all giggles while discussing his 30-year high school reunion.
When Cooper, 48, stopped by way of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, December 19, he noted he went to “a couple” of his Germantown Academy reunions in Pennsylvania, including his twentieth and twenty fifth. Most recently, he attended his thirtieth reunion, which he said was once about two weeks ago.
“Really?” host Jimmy Fallon requested. “Would you lie? You’re being honest?”
“I feel I'd let you know the truth,” Cooper replied, adding that he arrived early to the reunion.
“What, did you move to the 29th anniversary?” Fallon joked because the pair began hysterically guffawing. The A Star Is Born actor persevered recounting his milestone reunion, calling it “great” and reiterating his punctuality.
“I was early, and I put the sign out front. It said ‘Germantown Academy,’” he shared. “And then folks came and I welcomed them.”
The Maestro actor, director and producer endured: “But when I was in high school, I used to head by Brad, and now I go through Bradley. I felt like I was some weird imposter, however that is my real name — Bradley.”
After graduating high school, Cooper enrolled at Villanova University. He later transferred to Georgetown University, the place he graduated in 1997. When Fallon requested Cooper whether other folks on the reunion “freak” out that he’s now an A-lister, Cooper mentioned no.
“It used to be truly — it was awesome,” he said. “It was just regular. I believe it was simply, like, time had passed, and it was once simply cool. There was once a guy [at a reunion] earlier than, and I feel I said it right here, he used to be now not cool. But he was once no longer there.”
This is not the primary time Cooper’s high school revel in has come up on The Tonight Show. In 2018, Cooper recalled one awkward interaction with a former classmate.
“There used to be this guy there who was once like the best athlete in high school—and he was once the nicest guy in high school — and he was once so, like, proficient,” Cooper defined. “He was a operating back. He was the s–t. He was once superb.”
While noting that his classmate “was lovely drunk” at the time, Cooper mentioned “he used to be looking at me like I’ve by no means noticed him glance before.”

“And he was like, ‘How’d that occur, Brad?’” Cooper said, referring to his luck. “I used to be like, ‘Wait what? How’d what occur?’”
Cooper instructed Fallon, “You by no means know the way people are going to react.”
