Bruce Springsteen is postponing more tour dates due to ongoing sickness.

The musician, 73, took to social media on Wednesday, September 6, to divulge he’s affected by peptic ulcer disease. He announced that his September performances are on dangle as docs have prompt him to take the month off to relaxation and deal with the illness.

“Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have postponed all performances these days scheduled for September 2023, beginning with day after today’s display scheduled for the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, NY,” the remark read. “Mr. Springsteen is being treated for signs of peptic ulcer disease and the verdict of his clinical advisors is that he should delay the remainder of his September shows.”

Springsteen persisted by means of apologizing for the cancelation and promised to return to lovers as temporarily as he can.

“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to put off those displays,” he wrote. “First, apologies to our fabulous Philly lovers who we neglected a couple of weeks in the past. We’ll be back to pick out those shows up and then some. Thank you in your understanding and strengthen. We’ve been having a blast at our US displays and we’re having a look forward to extra nice times. We’ll be again soon. Love and God bless all, Bruce.”

Springsteen’s latest postponements come after the singer revealed that an unspecified illness would prevent him from functioning at his Pennsylvania live shows in August. The presentations were later pushed back to August 21 and 23, 2024.

“Due to Bruce Springsteen having been taken in poor health, his concert events with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 were postponed,” the singer’s social media statement learn on the time. “We are running on rescheduling the dates so please hold on to your tickets as they are going to be legitimate for the rescheduled displays.”

Springsteen can have multiple month to recover. He is already scheduled to have October off and his next tour date is indexed as November 3 in Vancouver, British Columbia. He will then tour via Canada before heading to the west coast, wrapping up his final string of presentations in San Francisco on December 12.

This tour marks Springsteen’s first time at the highway since The River Tour six years ago. He introduced the collection of concert events in 2020 in reinforce of his twentieth albumLetter to You, however was forced to extend the development twice amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The tour ultimately kicked off in Tampa, Florida, in February. One month later, Springsteen postponed several of his displays due to illness before proceeding the 28-stop U.S. leg. He then traveled across the pond for 31 additional displays in Europe prior to the second one U.S. leg kicked off in Chicago in August.

Springsteen isn’t the one musician who has recently been forced to cancel shows due to well being problems. Last month, Luke Bryan called off 3 concert events in three days, while fellow nation famous person Morgan Wallen canceled six weeks of presentations on his One Night at a Time tour in May, bringing up vocal cord trauma and a torn lat muscle. Wallen was later cleared to carry out after a six-week vocal wreck.
