Friends on and off digital camera! Aimee Garcia couldn’t be more grateful for her courting with costar Freddie Prinze Jr. after working in combination in the family-friendly and lighthearted Netflix film Christmas With You.
Garcia, 44, plays Angelina, a pop celebrity who is on the lookout for inspiration after feeling burnout. “Angelina is a workaholic and occupation woman who’s afraid to put her middle on the line, which I believe is something we will be able to all relate to,” Garcia instructed Us Weekly completely of her personality. “She gets challenged when the ever-charming Freddie Prinze Jr. comes into her existence and roughly turns issues the other way up.”
To lend a hand rediscover her spark, Angelina comes to a decision to grant a 15-year-old mega-fan’s wish to meet her — and unexpectedly finds love along the way in which.

“I am a huge Sarah Michelle Geller fan. I believe she is so gifted and used to be such a trailblazer and was once such an iconic female function forward of her time,” the Dexter alum instructed Us. “I pictured us putting out within the giant town, but she didn’t get an opportunity to return to the set. We shot in New York, so I haven’t gotten an opportunity to meet her, however she’s been so extremely supportive of the film.”
Garcia stated she “completely geeked out” when Prinze Jr. advised her that he deliberate to watch Christmas With You with his family.
“She posted [about the film] on her Instagram and I completely fan-girled and were given tremendous pink in my face. And I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh,’ We’re following each different on our socials. I were given very excited,” the George Lopez star gushed.

“I was attracted to the movie because I had by no means seen an American Christmas movie headlined by two Latinos, especially one written through Latinos, directed by Latino and produced via Latinos. So, this story felt very authentic,” Garcia defined.

“I just need to see this beautiful Latino family members within the fabric of American cinema.
