The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley is clapping again at feedback about her prior to now strong marriage to Paul “PK” Kemsley.
After Dorit, 47, and PK, 55, introduced their separation earlier this week, a social media person requested why they weren’t “more potent than ever” as previously advertised. Dorit responded in the feedback.
“We have been. S—t occurs,” the Bravo famous person wrote. “It’s called lifestyles — try it sometime. One day at a time.”
Dorit and PK, who wed in 2015, confirmed on Thursday, May 9, that they were taking time aside after nine years of marriage.
“We as a pair have been topic to a lot of hypothesis about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to paintings through them as two individuals who love each and every other and share two wonderful children in combination,” they wrote in a joint Instagram upload, referring to son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8. “To safeguard our deep friendship and handle a harmonious setting for our children now we have made the mutual and hard choice to take a little time aside and reevaluate our dating whilst we prioritize our children.”
They concluded, “We admire your love and toughen whilst we continue to do the work important during this adventure.”
During Dorit’s RHOBH tenure, enthusiasts (and costar Erika Jayne) have speculated that her marriage used to be on the rocks. Both Dorit and PK ceaselessly shut down the rumors.
“It’s not true, we’re not separated [and] we’re not divorcing,” Dorit exclusively told Us Weekly at BravoCon in November 2023. “We’ve been very open and fair this season, talking in regards to the demanding situations over the last couple of years and they've been tricky. But I’ve also long past thru numerous difficult issues in my view. So, you already know, that’s where we're. But, I feel we’re for sure excellent.”
Dorit further informed Us that the now-estranged couple would “be excellent” moving ahead.
“We’re both hopeful,” Dorit asserted at the time. “And, you recognize, the whole lot is fine. [We’re] running at the marriage.”
When cameras rolled on RHOBH season 13, devoted viewers sensed something was off with the Kemsleys. As Dorit endured to combat PTSD stemming from her 2021 home invasion, PK downplayed her psychological health struggles.

“There are components that I perceive, there also are components that I don’t consider are PTSD. I don’t,” PK informed the couple’s therapist in a January episode. “The reality is, when does high maintenance blend with PTSD?”
PK additionally persevered to time table work trips out of town, which even intended skipping Mother’s Day in 2023.
“I’m your kids’s mother. I would like you to make a concerted effort,” she later instructed PK in a February episode. “From now on, to be together on Mother’s Day as a result of it will be significant to me.”
