Everything to Know About Kinds of Kindness: Cast, Release Date

Even earlier than Kinds of Kindness hits theaters, the movie is producing buzz for a number of solid member’s close connections to Taylor Swift.

The star-studded forged contains one of Swift’s best friends Emma Stone, her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn and collaborator Jack Antonoff’s wife, Margaret Qualley. Kinds of Kindness additionally features stars who aren’t in Swift’s universe — including Jesse Plemons and Willem Dafoe.

Directed through Yorgos Lanthimos, the movie follows “3 tales [that] revolve round a man who tries to take control of his own lifestyles, a policeman whose spouse seems like a special individual, and a lady who searches for anyone with a unique ability.”

Prior to Kinds of Kindness, Lanthimos and Stone collaborated on Poor Things — which earned her an Oscar for Best Actress in March — and 2018’s The Favourite, which also featured Alwyn.

Who Stars in ‘Kinds of Kindness’?

The cast comprises Stone, Plemons, Dafoe, Qualley, Alwyn, Hunter Schafer, Hong Chau and Mamoudou Athie.

Is There a Trailer for ‘Kinds of Kindness’?

The first teaser for the film dropped in March. At the beginning of the clip, Stone is seen driving a fast paced car as she says in a voiceover, “This is it. The second of truth.”

The video, which featured snippets of each forged member, came to an in depth as Stone’s automobile pulled into a parking zone and she’s heard saying, “Isn’t it glorious?”

The complete trailer was launched in May. While it did not divulge much of the film’s plot, it did characteristic several dramatic scenes. In one clip, a frame is noticed getting dragged into every other room, whilst any other displays Alwyn screaming.

“Open your eyes and look clearly at what’s happening around you,” Plemons stated in the video, which is ready to “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by means of Eurythmics.

When Will ‘Kinds of Kindness’ Be Released?

While Kinds of Kindness hits theaters on June 21, the movie made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May — and earned a standing ovation.

What is ‘Kinds of Kindness’ About?

While much of the main points remain beneath wraps, Kinds of Kindness centers around three separate storylines. Lanthimos previously described the movie as a trio of different tales “with four or 5 actors who play one part in each story, so they all play 3 other parts.”

“It used to be virtually like making three motion pictures, in point of fact,” he said right through an interview with The Guardian in December 2023.
