Frasier Reboot: Everything to Know

Ready for some more tossed salad and scrambled eggs? Frasier of essentially the most celebrated comedies of the Nineteen Nineties and 2000s — and the sitcom is in spite of everything getting the reboot treatment.

Frasier, which ran for Eleven seasons between 1993 and 2004 on NBC, follows titular Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) as a a hit Boston therapist who strikes to his native land of Seattle. The psychotherapist — who audience first met as a supporting personality on Cheers — hosts his own talk show whilst struggling along with his romantic existence and courting with father (John Mahoney) and brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce). 

Nearly twenty years after Frasier ended, the sitcom is gearing up for its second life — a challenge that is almost a decade in the making. 

“[They’re] the general phases of the final script for the primary episode of the Frasier reboot and it looks pretty good,” he shared during a July 2022 appearance on The Talk. “I’ve had a few runs thru it, and I cried, so, you know, I’m satisfied. The key ingredient for the Frasier reboot is in truth Frasier, in truth. It was always called [Frasier], so it’s me, the secret is me.”
