
Gabby Windey has realized a thing or two about finding love following her split from ex-fiancé Erich Schwer.
The former couple fell in love on season 19 of The Bachelorette and got engaged right through the September 2022 finale. However, they called it quits lower than two months after Schwer’s proposal aired.
Windey, who was once competing on season 31 of Dancing With the Stars at the time, addressed the split for the first time on an episode of the ballroom pageant sequence in November 2022. “The end of our relationship took place as a result of we weren’t utterly in step and in sync with every other in our not unusual objectives or simply the way in which we way life,” she instructed her spouse, Val Chmerkovskiy, including that she and Schwer simply “weren’t each other’s absolute best match.”
Schwer shared his own two cents on the breakup ahead of moving on with girlfriend Elizabeth Turner in February 2023. “Numerous you're achieving out with questions about me and Gabby. The truth is that we in the long run were not every other’s folks — it’s arduous when there isn’t something to position your finger on,” he wrote via his Instagram Story in November 2022. “We met in a very distinctive situation and in an overly distinctive means and I’m thankful we did. Windey announced in August 2023 that she had started dating a woman, comedy writer Robby Hoffman.
