The Golden Bachelor’s Susan Noles had her eye on Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark Anderson.
“When we met him at your finale, of course, Susan elbowed her method in to see if she may just maybe date the guy,” Kathy Swarts mentioned at the Wednesday, June 26, episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Susan, 67, interjected, “We were emailing long sooner than that.” As Kathy, 71, gushed that Mark is a “super nice guy,” Susan added, “Great guy.”
After Kathy joked that she’s going to have to pursue Mark in spite of everything of the praise, Susan added, “He’s 57, Kathy.” Kathy responded, “So what? I will go more youthful.” (Kathy and Susan each vied for the affections of Gerry Turner all the way through The Golden Bachelor season 1 in 2023, however he in the end proposed and wed Theresa Nist. They have since divorced.)
When asked how she would really feel if Mark had a “similar relationship experience” to her, Kelsey, 26, stated she would “fully toughen it.”
“I would like my dad to get in the market. I would like my dad to date,” Kelsey mentioned. “I believe that my mom really would need him to. My mom earlier than she handed always said like, ‘I would like you to find any person else. I would like you to find every other love.’ Before she even was ill she would at all times say this. She simply knew that she used to be going to pass sooner than him.”
Kelsey noted that she and her different siblings would fortify their dad as a result of they “need him to be happy and find a spouse to travel and do issues with.”
“I think like my dad gave all of us such a lot love growing up and he still does. I simply really feel like my dad merits love as well,” she persisted. “I believe that loving your circle of relatives is other than loving a spouse. And I believe that he wishes that give a boost to of a spouse, anyone that’s now not his child, now not his brother, his sister-in-law. Like his perfect buddy. I feel my dad is deserving of that.”
While Kelsey has been supportive of her dad getting back available in the market, she mentioned it took some of her siblings “a bit bit longer to feel that means.”
“My dad hasn’t truly dated. He more or less dated one or two women but it was very roughly … I don’t really feel like he totally felt like he could date them because he all the time felt responsible about it,” she defined. “Because he appears like no one goes to change our mother and it’s like, we know that no one is going to change our mother but it’s going to be a different love and it’s going to be something that you deserve.”
She persevered, “We simply want him to be at liberty and discover a easiest pal like how he was with my mom as neatly.”

You’re so courageous.’ He was once like, ‘That’s something your mother would do.’ He just felt like I was exuding my mom’s energy, I guess,” she said right through a one-on-one date with Joey, 29, in Spain, to which he spoke back: “With how you’re describing her energy, 100 %.”
