The Great British Bake Off has topped many winners since its debut on BBC Two in 2010, and the display has controlled to trap viewers international thanks to its recognition on Netflix.

Fans in an instant fell in love with the endearing contestants, accomplished judges — together with Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood (and later Prue Leith) — as well as a number of wisecracking hosts reminiscent of Sue Perkins and Noel Fielding.
