Hallmark Channel movies shipping viewers into a different world, and the community’s royal-themed movies deliver a whole other degree of fable.

While fanatics expect to droop their disbelief, there are nearly too many tropes to count with regards to Hallmark’s royal rom-coms. The major offender? Boy meets lady — and girl is blindsided via the revelation that her spouse is royalty.

Another Us-approved cliché is the tale of an American who is hired by way of the royal circle of relatives to assist the king — or his child —and finally ends up finding her personal thankfully ever after.

Although Hallmark does stick with a formula of types — the queen always hates the foreigner but ultimately comes around when her son threatens to surrender the throne — each royal film does give the viewer a mini fairy tale that is wrapped up in two hours or much less.
