Jason Kelce swiped right to seek out love with his now-wife, Kylie Kelce, but their first date was anything but smooth sailing.
“It was beautiful evident the second time we hung out [that this used to be going somewhere],” Kylie, 31, said during Wednesday, September 6, episode of her husband’s “New Heights” podcast.
When Jason, 35, asked why it wasn’t the primary time, Kylie recalled, “Well, he fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on a bar table!”
She added: “Because he was too drunk after which [his teammate] Beau Allen accomplished essentially the most [impressive] bodily feat of his lifestyles when he fireman-carried Jason back to his condo.”
According to Kylie, Allen, 31, “emphasized that somebody who’s useless weight” is difficult to hold. “Jason fought him the entire means,” she said, stifling her laughter. “Physically fought him all the approach.”
Jason, who shares three daughters with Kylie, claimed he was once looking to “problem” Allen by making an attempt to get unfastened.
“[I] for sure fell asleep,” Jason instructed his brother and podcast cohost, Travis Kelce. “Got a bit too under the influence of alcohol, but I was sober sufficient to grasp [she] was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. It was love in the beginning sight. … I didn’t [believe in love to start with sight] until I met [her] and it was like fireworks exploded at the door the instant she walked into Buffalo Billiards.”
Jason admitted that their 2d date “went a lot better” because he used to be sober and stayed wide awake.
Jason and Kylie initially matched on Tinder, however he stored his Philadelphia Eagles occupation off of the app. “His profile at the time was something to the impact of, ‘I want to have deep significant conversations and speak about getting married and having kids,’” she added on Wednesday, noting there were not any references to Jason’s workforce in his bio.
Kylie teased that Jason did “really lean into the lumberjack factor” because of his plaid outfit, full beard and “man bun.”

“See, the man bun was helpful within the early phases of our courting because I may just inform when he used to be blacked out as a result of he would ship me a selfie and his hair could be down,” she quipped. “As soon as I were given a selfie with his hair down, I used to be like, ‘I’ll communicate to you day after today whilst you re-enter the arena.’”
Jason and Kylie got married in April 2018 sooner than welcoming daughters Wyatt, 3, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 6 months.
