Achieving the J. Lo glow doesn’t come easy. Jennifer Lopez is dedicated to keeping her fitness routine fresh — and is always up for a brand new problem.
“It’s no secret that health is a vital part of my life,” the Hustlers actress, 53, tells Us Weekly completely whilst discussing her collaboration with BODYARMOR for their “Choose More” campaign. “I think there’s a favorable correlation between workout and psychological health. When you find a just right stability through determination and focal point, we’re naturally pushing to be the most efficient version of ourselves.”
Lopez says exercise is “a motivating factor” in her life, telling Us that she likes to damage a sweat “very first thing within the morning” no matter what her “busy agenda” has in store. “I try to make just right alternatives and stability my time,” she adds.

When it comes to what she works on within the health club, the Grammy nominee likes to mix things up frequently. “I’m at all times evolving and on the lookout for issues that stay me excited and motivated,” she explains. “I’m now not afraid to problem myself, so I’m open to pushing myself, which is what I’m doing right now as I rehearse for my new album, [This Is Me… Now], coming out this summer time.”
The Second Act big name’s toned physique has been the talk of Hollywood for years — and she continues to draw attention as she bares all in racy social media uploads. In January 2020, celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson spread out about what it’s like to hit the gym with Lopez.
“Working out with her, it’s kind of exceptional as a result of she is so hardworking and he or she has such a good attitude,” Anderson solely advised Us. “She’s got nice energy. She’s positive and giving. She’s just an excellent woman.”
At the time, the “Get Right” singer was keen on kickboxing, circuit training, core paintings, lunges and burpees. “She displays up no matter what, she takes the time seriously, she knows her frame, she needs to be herself,” Anderson added. “She is aware of that putting in the hard work to get her workout in is a part of it.”
The Tracy Anderson Method creator praised Lopez’s “workout ethic,” noting, “She never is available in and doesn’t have energy, doesn’t have center of attention, doesn’t have appreciation. … She does what she desires when she desires.”

Lopez is always on the go, however she also knows the importance of giving her body a break. In a July 2022 publication, the “On the Floor” artist reflected on experiencing exhaustion in her early profession.
“There was once a time in my life where I used to sleep Three to five hours an evening. I’d be on set all day and within the studio all night and doing junkets and filming movies at the weekends. I used to be in my past due 20s and I assumed I was invincible,” she wrote in “On the JLo” on the time. “Until someday, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and the tension it introduced with it, coupled with no longer sufficient sleep to recover mentally, stuck up with me.”
Lopez had felt “utterly customary” sooner than all of sudden becoming “frozen,” she recalled. “I believed I was dropping my mind. … Now I know it was a vintage panic assault caused by exhaustion, but I had never even heard the time period on the time.”
After consulting a physician, the New York native stated she “realized how critical the results may well be of ignoring what my body and mind needed to be healthy — and that’s where my journey to wellness began.”
