John Stamos celebrated his pal and previous costar Bob Saget on the late comic’s birthday with a photo of the Full House forged that integrated Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
“Happy Birthday Bob,” Stamos, 60, wrote by the use of Instagram on Friday, May 17, alongside a black and white photo of the Full House forged posing in the back of a large sculpture of Disney’s Dumbo, on what would were Saget’s 68th birthday. “This was taken as we accrued for his funeral. Though Bob wasn’t there physically, his spirit used to be unmistakably provide, wrapping us in warmth and shared recollections that drew each laughter and tears.”
Along with Stamos, Full House alums featured within the pic come with Scott Weinger, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier and sequence creator Jeff Franklin (who created each Full House and its Netflix sequel collection, Fuller House). Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley, 37, made a rare appearance as neatly, posing with their former castmates. The photo, which used to be taken in Stamos’ home, used to be credited to comedian Jeff Ross.
“That day, each people felt the load of his absence and the power of the bond he nurtured among us,” Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on Full House reverse Saget’s Danny Tanner from 1987 to 1995, wrote in his caption. “Bob was once the guts of our ‘Full House’ family. His legacy of kindness and compassion used to be obvious in the faces round me, (on Dumbo) in the mild tactics we supported one another, echoing the love he always prolonged. We celebrated a life that used to be a real gift to us all.”
He concluded, “Bob, you're with us in each and every shaggy dog story we share and each hug we give. Rest in peace, expensive friend. Your family misses you greater than phrases can say. 💔.”
Saget passed away on January 9, 2022, on the age of 65, after being found unresponsive in his lodge room in Orlando, after doing a stand-up show at some point prior. A month later, authorities determined that Saget had died from blunt drive trauma to the head.
“They have concluded that he accidentally hit the again of his head on something, idea nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol had been concerned,” Saget’s circle of relatives advised Us Weekly in a February 2022 remark.
As for the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, both 37, shared the position of Michelle Tanner on Full House. While most of the cast returned for the Fuller House reboot, the retired actresses (who've since turn out to be model designers) declined to reprise their role as a now-grown-up Michelle, which Stamos in the past admitted made him “angry.”
“When I did Fuller House, they didn’t need to come back and I used to be indignant for a minute and that got out,” he stated during a May 2023 episode of the “And That’s What You REALLY Missed” podcast. However, they reconnected following Saget’s demise.

“They stated ‘We beloved you guys, we beloved our adolescence. We beloved being with you. We miss Bob.’ They came over to my house and so they brought a pork chop and sage,” Stamos said on the podcast.
In a remark to Us Weekly on January 10, 2022, just one day after Saget’s stunning demise, the Olsens remembered their TV dad as “probably the most loving, compassionate and beneficiant man.”
Their commentary persevered, “We are deeply saddened that he's now not with us but know that he's going to continue to be by means of our side to lead us as gracefully as he all the time has. We are considering of his daughters, spouse and circle of relatives and are sending our condolences.”
