JoJo Siwa is standing by way of Colleen Ballinger through grooming allegations.
While appearing at the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast on Wednesday, September 13, Howie Mandel kicked off the dialog by asking Siwa if she’s still friends with Ballinger.
“Yeah,” she responded. “I’ve known Colleen since I used to be 12. She’s always been not anything but kind to me … The internet can take a lie and run up to now with it that it’s to the purpose the place you simply can’t do anything else about it.”
Siwa added that she is aware of Ballinger “very, rather well.”
“I think the work that Colleen has accomplished for the internet is implausible,” Siwa continued. “Miranda Sings, her personality, is a comic, and I think that it’s very laborious to be a character where people are also looking at you as you’re a real human behind that persona. Ballinger was once accused of grooming her young lovers in June when a YouTuber KodeeRants posted alleged screenshots between her and a gaggle of fans. At the time, Ballinger made a YouTube video responding to the claims in a “Toxic Gossip Train” music. In the social media clip, she defined that “some people are announcing things about me that simply aren’t true.” She then started strumming the ukulele and singing that she wanted to “be besties with everyone” however “didn’t understand that possibly there must be some boundaries there.”
Ballinger added that she might not be “admitting to lies and rumors that you simply made up for clout.”
She also shared that she has already taken “accountability” for her actions in 2020, when content material author Adam McIntyre claimed she had “an inappropriate private friendship with him between the ages of Thirteen and 16,” or even sent him undies “as a funny story.”

After his accusations, she said via social media, “I see how utterly silly of me, I will have to have never sent [the undies]. “I don’t know what part of my brain was once lacking on the time that I thought, ‘Oh this is a standard, foolish thing to do.’”
Since June, Ballinger has stayed out of the highlight and has not posted anything else on her social media accounts.
