More than four years after meeting on set, Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas discovered love after heartbreak.

News broke in November 2019 that the This Is Us alum filed for divorce from Chrishell Stause after two years of marriage. While he listed their date of separation as July 8, 2019, the Selling Sunset superstar marked the end of their marriage as November 22, 2019, the same day Hartley filed the paperwork.

“The divorce filing was a large surprise to everybody round Justin and Chrishell on the subject of their buddies,” a source advised Us Weekly on the time, noting that the actor “were having issues of the wedding for some time.”

Stause, for her part, claimed on her Netflix reality display that she was blindsided by the filing.

“I’m just more or less in surprise with all of it,” she said in the season 3 teaser. “It’s only a lot all at once as a result of everybody in the whole global knows. I like him such a lot. This was once my perfect good friend. Who do I talk to now?”

Hartley was prior to now married to Lindsay Korman from 2004 to 2012. They percentage daughter Isabella. Following his divorce from Stause, he moved on with Pernas — with whom he previously starred on The Young and the Restless — in May 2020.
