Oh, what a laugh it is to wait a Kardashian Christmas Eve birthday celebration! The well-known family is known for throwing an extravagant bash once a year.

The tradition started with Kris Jenner, but Kim Kardashian and sister Kourtney Kardashian have since picked it up for their mom. When the momager passed the baton on a June 2019 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians to Kim, she broke down in tears.

“I need you guys with the intention to do that till you’re my age and one in every of your children takes over. That’s the pleasure,” the In the Kitchen With Kris creator told the KKW Beauty creator at the time. “It’s just the thought of in truth no longer doing at my space. … I’m getting emotional. It makes me unhappy. It does. It makes me so sad. It’s simply that magic that you can make, and make everyone really feel so wonderful on one evening a year. It’s that love.”

Jenner added: “It’s now not only a birthday celebration. It’s changing of the guards.”

After getting her mother’s “blessing,” Kim went on to explain her choice to take over the birthday celebration making plans.

“Our Christmas Eve birthday celebration was always this amusing birthday celebration that I simply remember being friends and family and my grandparents and cousins. It was once just the best night ever,” the Selfish creator mentioned in a confessional. “But my mother’s been doing it for see you later that it’s was one thing different. It’s roughly a celebration only for my mom and most commonly her friends. We want it to be a spot that we can simply have amusing and it’s all of our pals and indubitably circle of relatives and my mother’s pals, too. But a excellent mix of each so we can have a great time and truly simply enjoy each different.”
