After Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes announced they called it quits lower than three months after their Bachelorette engagement aired, the previous couple were candid about navigating their newfound single status.

Thurston, who initially fell in love with the natural world supervisor all through The Bachelorette season 17, advised Us Weekly days ahead of their cut up that she was “totally winging” life whilst the pair navigated long distances.

Shortly after the season 17 finale aired in August 2021, Thurston relocated from her hometown in Washington to San Diego, California. Moynes, for his phase, remained in Canada as the pair traveled back and forth to visit one any other.

Since their split, Thurston has been vocal about moving on and pursuing love at some point. Moynes, for his part, has thrown himself back into his work as a wildlife manager and targeted on his passion for animals to stick busy.
