Born Kristen Mary Houghton, Kris Jenner rose to reputation because the matriarch of the Kardashian media family. She married the overdue Robert Kardashian, referred to now for being considered one of O.J. Simpson‘s defense legal professionals, in 1978. The couple welcomed four children together — Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Robert Jr. (Rob) — earlier than separating after 11 years of marriage.

Before finalizing her divorce in 1991, Kris sparked a romance with Olympian Caitlyn Jenner. The two ultimately wed that April after Caitlyn asked Robert for his approval. (Robert kicked the bucket in 2003 from esophageal cancer.) Kris and Caitlyn have two kids together: Kendall and Kylie.

Kris labored with government producer Ryan Seacrest to develop a truth series in line with her combined family. The E! sequence Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered in 2007, launching the family into superstardom. Her corporate, Jenner Communications, produced the show for 20 seasons from 2007 to 2020. The circle of relatives moved to streaming with Hulu’s The Kardashians, which premiered in April 2022.

Kris and Caitlyn introduced their cut up in 2013, 12 months ahead of Kris officially filed for divorce. She moved on with skill supervisor Corey Gamble in 2014, and her divorce from Caitlyn used to be finalized in March 2015.

Outside of truth TV, Kris manages the careers of all of her children and has branched out with several of her own trade endeavors. She briefly hosted a daytime talk show, aptly titled Kris, in 2013 and has penned more than one books, including her 2011 autobiography, Kris Jenner… and All Things Kardashian, and her 2014 cookbook, In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites. In 2021, Kris released her Safely line of cleansing merchandise.
