After calling it quits in 2009 with ex-husband Hayes Hargrove, whom she was married to for 4 years, Wiig admitted she wasn’t sure she would tie the knot again.

The comic later hinted that the pair had taken another main step of their relationship when she made a special Mother’s Day appearance on Saturday Night Live.

“This is the Mother’s Day display, and at SNL, it’s an overly special time to rejoice mothers,” the Ghostbusters star said in May 2020. “Unfortunately, more than likely like numerous you, I will’t be with my mom in this Mother’s Day. Now it’s just, like, the sort of larger factor, and all of that stuff is so true.”

She endured: “Especially being in this business, you’re by yourself so much, and you're making your personal decisions. It can also be very form of, like, an remoted existence. Now that I have kids, it’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t want this to be about me, I don’t wanna take into accounts me anymore.”
