Something to sing about! Macklemore’s wife, Tricia Davis, gave birth to the couple’s second child, a girl, in mid-March.
Macklemore published the happy information during an interview with the Irish radio station Spin 1038 on April 4. Asked how he celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, he stated, “I spent it in the health facility with my logo new daughter, who was once born right before St. Patrick’s Day.”
The “Thrift Shop” rapper, 34, announced on Instagram in September that he and the track manager, also 34, had another baby on the way. He shared a cute video with Davis and their 2-year-old daughter, Sloane Ava Simone, next to a cake and blue and crimson balloons.
“Tricia is pregnant, and these days we're going to to find out the gender of our child,” Macklemore (actual name Ben Haggerty) mentioned within the clip, even though he did not in reality reveal the sex of the baby on the time.

The Grammy winner and Davis quietly tied the knot in June 2015, just about two months before they went public with the news of their marriage ceremony and firstborn’s arrival. “We had our beautiful baby girl on May twenty ninth… Got married on June twenty seventh as soon as the Supreme Court ruled same sex couples may just too,” she wrote on Instagram in August 2015. “This 12 months has been implausible up to now, we like you.”
Macklemore spread out about fatherhood on “Growing Up,” his collaboration with Ryan Lewis and Ed Sheeran. “They say women shouldn’t be difficult / And moms must lift their youngsters at house / But baby, I do know that that isn’t true / ‘Cause your momma’s the toughest individual I do know,” he rapped. “I wanna carry you to be like her / And watch you display the arena how to do it on your own.”
