A romance for the history books. Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham won't have adopted the everyday relationship rules, but their connection nonetheless grows more potent by way of the day.
The pair started relationship in 2001 and welcomed their first kid in combination, daughter Ella Rae, two years later. They went on to have three more kids: sons Michael and Brendan in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and daughter Grace in 2010.
It wasn’t till August 2009 that the Entourage government producer and the former type after all tied the knot. The duo exchanged their vows in a romantic and intimate rite at a Catholic church in Beverly Hills with their kids and a couple of shut family members in attendance.
One year sooner than his nuptials, the “Good Vibrations” artist applauded his soon-to-be-wife with helping him turn into extra of a circle of relatives man after his rocky previous. As a teenager, Wahlberg experienced a handful of run-ins with the law, but was willing to take on the responsibilities of fatherhood after falling for Durham.
“I owe so much to my wife,” he informed the U.K.’s The Sun in 2008. “She has helped me transform the man that I am and created a fantastic life for me and our children. … You need the fitting woman in your life and that feeling that you’re going to be in combination for a long time. That’s particularly necessary in the event you’re going to have children.”
Despite his storied Hollywood occupation, Wahlberg and Durham have attempted to stay their children grounded and grateful. In May 2014, the Daddy’s Home star spread out in regards to the couple’s secrets to parenting success within the highlight.

“I feel a very powerful factor is to always be eager about each side in their existence,” he informed Esquire at the time. “The largest thing for me is, you understand, as temporarily as I was able to turn it round, to get from there to here, from me having not anything as a child to me right here now, offering the entirety for my children, it’s like, I concern that possibly they received’t respect things. I worry that possibly they’ll have a sense of entitlement. You don’t wanna give your kids the whole thing without giving them the tools to be great folks.”
