Was Megyn Kelly’s RNC dress that provocative? The Kelly File host used to be referred to as an “escort” for dressed in a sleeveless dress all through protection of the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, July 20.
The Fox News anchor, 45, wore a army halter dress that exposed her bare shoulders and a trace of décolletage. She accessorized with drop earrings. The ensemble apparently upset Fox News audience, who took to Twitter to bash the journalist, even going so far as to say she looked like a “whore.”

“@FoxNews Still hard to take your protection significantly when @megynkelly appears to be like like she’s working for an escort agency,” one Twitter user wrote Wednesday night, whilst any other puzzled: “What the hell is @megynkelly dressed in on #KellyFile tonight? Is she going clubbing, the seashore or dressing like a whore for the #RNCinCLE?”
Others attacked her integrity, tweeting: “Megyn Kelly needs us to take her critically as a journalist. Stop dressing like a cocktail waitress.”
Some other people, alternatively, did come to her support. The Nonprofit staff Flowering Hope, which goals to empower survivors of gender-based violence, applauded the Kelly File host. “Good for @MegynKelly! She can wear no matter she likes!” the crowd tweeted.
Kelly has but to remark on the controversy, but his isn’t the first time she’s come beneath fire for her taste.
