Someone is going to die in Modern Family season 10, and Nolan Gould thinks it could be Luke Dunphy, his character on the hit sitcom.

“When I heard that, I called my brokers, and I used to be like, ‘It’s me! Guaranteed. one hundred p.c it’s me. It’s a plot they’ve been trying to kill me for years, now’s their chance. They hate me.’ I was, like, crying,” the 19-year-old exclusively advised Us Weekly at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights on Friday, September 14.

News of the plot twist made headlines closing week after Modern Family cocreator (*10*) Lloyd advised Entertainment Weekly a “significant character at the sequence” could be killed off this season.

“We’re handling some bigger life events on this season,” the 57-year-old producer added. “We do care for a death, which is indisputably a topic that families have to take care of, and on television, it’s no longer easy to do because that’s a heavy topic. But at the similar time, it could seem unusual for a family to not go through it.”

And even with production at the ABC show’s tenth season in full swing, Gould nonetheless doesn’t know his character’s destiny. “I’m beautiful certain it’s no longer me, but I can’t say needless to say,” he instructed Us on Friday. “So you don’t wish to put it in print that it’s no longer not me, ‘purpose it might be me.
