Prince Louis Arthur Charles
London, England
April 23, 2018About
Prince Louis is the youngest child of Prince William and Princess Kate. He was born in April 2018, seven years after the couple tied the knot.
The prince was 5th in line for the crown before his grandfather, King Charles III, inherited the throne in September 2022. He is now fourth in line following his father and his two older siblings, brother Prince George and sister Princess Charlotte. Louis beat out uncle Prince Harry and his children, Archie and Lili, in the line of succession.
All 3 of Louis’ monikers run in the British royal circle of relatives, with his first name being a nod to Prince Philip’s overdue uncle Louis Mountbatten. It may be one among his brother George’s center names. Arthur is a shared middle identify with each his grandfather and father. Charles, in fact, pays homage to the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II.
Louis used to be born twelve months ahead of his first cousin on William’s side, Archie Harrison, who arrived in May 2019. Harry and spouse Meghan Markle later welcomed daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana in June 2021.
