Reba McEntire is operating on a new sitcom — and she’s overjoyed that it will feature her boyfriend.
NBC announced on Tuesday, May 7, that The Voice judge, 69, will big name in a new series titled Happy’s Place. McEntire in the past starred in her self-titled Reba sequence from 2001 to 2007 on the WB and CW networks.
“We were operating on seeking to get some other display since we had been canceled at the Reba display,” McEntire informed Entertainment Tonight in an interview revealed Wednesday, May 8. “We were given to do Malibu Country for one season. We’ve got the same manufacturers, identical showrunner, identical writers, and now we’re again with Melissa Peterman and Rex Linn, my boyfriend, and beautiful, wonderful cast and staff.”
