Soap Star Meg Bennett Dead at 75 Following Cancer Battle

Soap opera actress and screenwriter Meg Bennett died at age 75.

Bennett’s circle of relatives showed in an obituary revealed on Sunday, April 21, that she passed away earlier this month.

“Meg misplaced her battle with cancer,” read the observation from Bennett’s loved ones. “Until just about the top she used to be devotedly working with children, writing and attractive together with her far-flung friends and family.”

Bennett began her career as an actress through playing Marty Maraschino throughout the original Broadway run of Grease in 1972.
