Taylor Swift fans are connecting a resurfaced interview with the pop big name to her song “The Prophecy” off of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
In the 2012 interview, Katie Couric requested Swift, now 34, “Finish this sentence if it is advisable to, ‘In 10 years, I will be …’” to which Swift spoke back, “32 and … Woah, that’s the sort of onerous question. It’s like, all my fears pop out.”
When Couric, 67, requested what Swift meant by way of her statement, the singer elaborated, “Like losing the whole lot, like losing my friends and circle of relatives and finishing up by myself and crying and stuff.”
As Couric encouraged her to take a “more certain method” to the query, Swift added, “In 10 years, I will hopefully know … both have a family or know when I wish to have one, or something.”
