Terry Crews has not calmed down over showing alongside Taylor Swift during Trevor Noah’s opening monologue on the 2024 Grammys.
“Just to be discussed in the similar sentence as Taylor Swift, probably the most iconic female megastar of our time right now [is an honor],” Crews, 55, exclusively instructed Us Weekly at the America’s Got Talent season 19 red carpet earlier this week. “Her, Beyoncé. You know, these are literally the names that you might want to simply say, and everybody is aware of what you’re speaking about.”
Crews was once referencing a moment throughout the February awards show when the camera panned to the actor, who is also a former football participant, after Noah made a quip in regards to the consideration Swift got all through the 2023-2024 NFL season. (Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were relationship since summer season of closing 12 months.)
Noah said at the rite, “I’m gonna get revenge. Every time somebody says Taylor Swift. I’m going to cut the cameras to someone who performs football,” prior to reducing to Crews. Swift, for her phase, appeared to approve of the shaggy dog story, as she may well be noticed laughing while sitting a few tables away.

Following the rite, Crews wasted no time sharing the moment with his lovers. “So this came about remaining night,” he captioned a clip of the monologue by way of TikTok, ahead of congratulating Swift on taking house Album of the Year for 2022’s Midnights. “She makes us feel all the things!”
While the “Anti-Hero” singer is certain to be on any playlist Crews will craft this summer time, he’s only a massive track fan — and has an arsenal of alternative artists whose tunes can tools him up for the warmer climate.
“I were given a lot of Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, Beyoncé,” he informed Us, sharing his excitement to put the less warm months behind him. “Oh, guy, it’s such a lot happening. I will’t wait. It’s almost time.”
Time for hot climate, and time for a new season of America’s Got Talent. Crews will go back to host season 19, which is set to premiere on NBC in May. Heidi Klum, Sofîa Vergara, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell will once once more function judges.
The premiere is still a few months away, but Crews is greater than in a position to get things started, hoping to search out the following giant skill so as to add to his playlist. For now, there are plenty of previous contestants he can glance to when in search of the perfect music of summer time.
