Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Peter Weber fueled relationship rumors in and out of The Traitors fort, and she is after all atmosphere the record immediately on where they stand.
“We’re very good friends,” Ekin-Su, 29, solely advised Us Weekly at the Sixth Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Saturday, June 15. “We have a different friendship [and] he’s a lovely guy.”
Ekin-Su, who won season Eight of Love Island U.Okay., met Peter, 32, when they filmed The Traitors season 2 in Scotland. After filming concluded — neither Ekin-Su nor Peter ultimately received — lovers wondered if they fostered a showmance after the British truth TV famous person traveled to Los Angeles and met Peter’s mom, Barb Weber, and they posed for an Instagram photo in combination. Barb also commented on a number of of Ekin-Su’s posts, which she infamously did on Peter’s now-ex Kelley Flanagan’s page right through the pair’s on-off romance.
“I met his mom when I was in L.A. [and] the whole circle of relatives to be honest,” Ekin-Su, wearing a Toni Maticevski robe with APM jewellery, told Us on Saturday. “We stay in touch [and] we speak.”
According to Ekin-Su, she “would possibly” consult with the pilot in New York — Manhattan is Peter’s United Airlines base — later in June.
Before planning a trip to the Big Apple to hold with the former Bachelor, Ekin-Su loved some other Traitors reunion at the Critics Choice Real TV Awards. She was once joined by means of fellow season 2 alums Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Phaedra Parks and winner Trishelle Cannatella on the purple carpet.
“I made the absolute best friends; everybody’s wonderful,” Ekin-Su gushed of her time on the Peacock fact TV show. “I like the Americans. You guys rock. … We just had any such bond, even though in the citadel we had been all roughly paranoid about every other.”
In addition to her “in point of fact just right” friend Peter, Ekin-Su shaped robust friendships with the likes of Phaedra, 50, Dan Gheesling and Janelle Pierzina in spite of “the complete shield factor.”
“We’re all friends and I be in contact with them,” the Love Island alum gushed. “Good friendships come out of a truly, in reality good display. I heard they’re filming season 3 [now] and I’m very jealous.”
