The Voice': Chris Blue Named Season 12 Winner

There’s a new champ! Chris Blue used to be named as the winner of The Voice’s season 12 all over the Tuesday, May 23, finale, giving his coach Alicia Keys her first win, too.

The Knoxville local, 26, competed along Jesse Larson from Adam Levine’s team and Lauren Duski and Aliyah Moulden from Blake Shelton’s workforce. Each finalist used to be paired up with an achieved musician for their ultimate efficiency.

On Tuesday’s finale, Blue sang “Everybody Hurts” with Usher, and so they devoted the tune to the victims of recent tragedies, such because the Manchester terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert. Meanwhile, Larson teamed up with CeeLo Green to sing “Shining Star,” Dunski took the level with Little Big Town to accomplish “Better Man” and Aliyah added her vocals to Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful.” 

In the Monday, May 22, episode leading up to the finale, Blue surprised the target market together with his three performances. He belted out his original music “Money on You,” sang a duet with Keys of Prince’s “Diamonds and Pearls” and delivered a fantastic rendition of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation”

Blue, who landed a document deal and $100,000 prize, was a stunning winner as a result of he used to be the very remaining person decided on to enroll in the NBC making a song pageant during the blind auditions.
