Timothy Olyphant doesn’t just play the easiest partner on display — he’s been one to wife Alexis Knief for greater than three a long time.
Olyphant met his long term wife whilst they had been each attending the University of Southern California — where he was at the start recruited to join the school’s swim team — and the pair endured up to now throughout school.
Before becoming a big celebrity, Olyphant and Knief ultimately tied the knot in 1991. The couple — who are the proud parents of 3 kids, Grace, Henry and Vivian — have kept their romance low-key over time. However, the actor hasn’t shied away about gushing over his partner now and then.
“You should be with the appropriate person, and you each should be prepared to do the paintings, day in and day out, to make it happen,” he recalled in a 2011 interview with Women’s Health about how he and Knief have kept their relationship robust over the years.

Two years later, Olyphant and Knief completed their circle of relatives with daughter Vivian. During a 2012 appearance on The Ellen Show, Olyphant shared his reaction when his wife informed them they had been having a 3rd kid.
“I keep in mind when she mentioned we had been having a 3rd. I said, ‘I take note speaking about it, however I didn’t know we had committed.’ But they’re just right youngsters, and I think I’ve gotten used to them,” he quipped. I mean it’s pretty transparent to me at this level we are retaining them.”

The father of three went on to land a breakout function in HBO’s Deadwood which propelled the actor’s occupation.
2010
Following his position on Deadwood, Olyphant snagged the lead position on Justified. In 2011, he was once nominated for an Emmy for his role on the display however misplaced to Kyle Chandler for Friday Night Lights. After his Emmy’s loss, Olyphant printed that Knief helped him craft his acceptance speech if he was once to win.
“My opening line — this was once my wife’s idea if truth be told — I used to be going to have a look at the trophy … and then glance out at my wife of two decades and say, ‘Well, Honey, this is it. I’m after all leaving you,’” he joked all over a 2012 look on Conan.

Olyphant brought Knief as his plus-one to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party and Golden Globes that year.

Nearly twenty years after Justified wrapped up, Olyphant reprised his role as Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens within the new collection Justified: City Primeval. His and Knief’s youngest daughter Vivian landed the position of her dad’s on-screen daughter within the continuation show.
