Tom Brady is sharing his thoughts on Travis Kelce‘s heated sideline second with Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid on the 2024 Super Bowl.
During the Tuesday, February 13, episode of SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,” Brady, 46, defined why neither Kelce, 34, nor Reid, 65, have been in the flawed.
“There’s all the time little circle of relatives problems and, of course, I don’t mind seeing it because I used to be a part of numerous the ones issues. Emotions are so prime. You are certainly no longer centered and balanced,” the retired football player, who won seven Super Bowls all through his occupation, shared. “You’re not in a meditative state at that point. You are fully determined to move in the market and to win.”
Brady had not anything but praise for Reid after seeing how he handled the tight end’s outburst.

“I believe numerous the things which can be mentioned all over the games, people will have to just allow them to fly off their backs. And I in reality think Coach Reid treated it just awesome, like he all the time does,” he noted. “He simply stated, ‘I was a little off stability and Travis is one of these competitor.’ And I like that as it simply speaks to his management ability.”

Kelce raised eyebrows during the second quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11, when he ran into Reid on the sideline. The run-in took place after his teammate Isiah Pacheco misplaced a fumble within the crimson zone. Reid stumbled backward as Kelce shouted in his face, reputedly questioning why he wasn’t at the field.
The Kansas City Chiefs ultimately defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. After the sport, Reid weighed in on his interaction with Kelce, telling CBS, “He helps to keep me young. He stuck me off steadiness. Normally I’d give him somewhat bit [back], but I didn’t have [my] ft underneath me.”
Kelce, meanwhile, stated he didn’t plan on sharing the exact details of his dialog with Reid.

“Oh, you guys saw that?” he joked in a postgame interview. “I’m gonna stay it between us except my mic’d up [content material] tells the world, but I used to be just telling him how a lot I like him.”
While discussing the memorable Super Bowl second, which was highly debated online throughout the game, Brady mentioned he noticed all sides of the location.
“It speaks to the self-confidence that Coach Reid has in himself too. Because he doesn’t take that individually at all. He doesn’t take a look at that and feel like someone offended him,” he endured on Tuesday. “He takes it for what it is and doesn’t make it greater than it's and doesn’t see somebody’s trying to belittle him. Travis is not looking to do any of the ones issues. He’s just looking to be fired up and keep in the moment.”
