
From gold medals to a rising circle of relatives! Usain Bolt‘s girlfriend, Kasi Bennett, has given beginning to their first child.
“Congratulations to our dash legend Usain Bolt and Kasi Bennett on the arrival of their baby lady!” Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness tweeted on Monday, May 18.

Bennett, 29, looked as if it would ascertain the scoop on her Instagram Story by reposting Tiffany Samantha‘s video of herself pouring wine into a “Proud Aunt” cup. She captioned the photos: “Because I’ve waited so long for this.”
The Olympian, 33, introduced in January that he and the promoting director had a little one on the way. “I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is set to be HERE @kasi.b,” the athlete wrote on Instagram on the time alongside pictures of Bennett cradling her baby bump on a beach.
“Our greatest blessing,” the then-pregnant megastar captioned her personal social media reveal. “Our largest party. Our golden child. Coming quickly.”
Bolt shared his and the Project Kase founder’s family plans in October 2018. “Something I’ve realized is it’s never a good time to have children,” the previous sprinter instructed Stellar mag. “It’s never a good time. You just need to wade through it. It’s in the near long term, so, optimistically. We’ll see.”
The eight-time gold medalist went on to inform the opening: “I without a doubt need a circle of relatives, regardless that. For me, over the years, I’ve waited because I need to make sure it’s the appropriate individual.”

Two months later, Bolt gushed about his girlfriend on Instagram. “Together forever keep staring at. #yesyou,” the Jamaica native captioned a PDA picture.
While the 11-time World Champion is the world-record holder in 3 races, he retired in 2017 and tried his hand at a special recreation — football. Bolt started coaching with the Central Coast Mariners, an Australian A-League membership, in August 2018. He scored two goals the following month during a fit, but left the team in November 2018.
In January 2019, Bolt declared that his “sports life is over.” He informed ESPN on the time: “It was a just right experience. I in point of fact loved just being in a group and it used to be other from track and field and it used to be a laugh whilst it lasted. … I’m now transferring into other businesses, I have a lot of issues in the pipeline, so as I say, I’m simply dabbling in the whole lot and seeking to be a businessman now.”
